Internet Gambling

August 5th, 2007

In the past year we have seen many changes in the internet gambling world. Last Oct a US internet gambling bill was passed to ban internet gambling transactions. Then founders of Neteller were arrested which led to NETeller no longer allowing customers from the US. Funds were held up for months. Following with other webwallets closing to US based customers and the most recent is ecocard which will stop processing transaction on August 24th. Some internet casinos will still be able to process transactions to the casinos through credit and debit cards.

For the future of internet gambling it looks as if the US will not be able to gambler much longer. This all came about from a bill that was attached to the port security bill at the last minutes, which was a must pass bill. It was done very sneaky. Many congress people did not even know it was attached, wonder who got paid off and by whom? Recently rumors are the MGM and other Vegas casinos have plans to go online as soon as they are able, which is in the works. Makes you go HMMMMM.
